Pin terminal wire connector High quality crimp connector ring/pin/fork/snap/endseal terminal connectors
Pin terminal Wire connector is a type of solderless electrical connection. These connectors are typically used to terminate stranded wire.
Advantages
- A well-engineered and well-executed crimp designed to be gas-tight, which prevents oxygen and moisture from reaching the metals (which are often different metals) and causing corrosion Because no alloy used (as in solder) the joint mechanically stronger.
- Crimped connections can be used for cables of both small and large cross-sections, whereas only small cross-section wires can be used with wire wrap.
- To achieve the necessary compressive force, it’s best to use a crimping tool when attaching crimp connectors to a wire.
- Pliers or a hammer will work in a pinch, but using such tools can result in a loose connection that ultimately results in an open circuit.
- A butt splice connector form of so called “crimp” connectors.
- Crimp connectors used to terminate wires safely, or connect one wire to another.
- The wire inserted into the connector. Then the connector “crimped”, usually with pliers.
- As a result, the connector bent and deformed around the wire.
