• Bondtech BMG X2 Extruder is a compact, lightweight dual extrusion extruder built for high pushing power, fast retractions, and reliable multi‑material printing.
• Based on Bondtech’s proven BMG Dual‑Drive design, it uses an internal 3:1 gear ratio with precision CNC‑machined hardened steel, coated drive gears to deliver stable, high‑traction filament feeding—helping prevent grinding and slipping even on long prints with frequent retractions.
• Whether you’re printing fine detail with small nozzles or high‑flow parts with larger nozzles, the BMG X2 provides consistent extrusion and excellent control.
• The fully guided filament path and tight gear tolerances improve performance with demanding materials, including Nylon, TPU/TPE, and carbon‑filled composites (filament quality dependent).

Two Versions Available BMG X2 Extruder

• for the older type of Chimera/Cyclops with a c-c of 18.00 mm (see pictures with Alu Mounts);
• for the newer Chimera+/Cyclops+ with a c-c of 20.00 mm (see pictures with red tabs).
• The CC 20.00 version is compatible with the Aqua Version. Make sure to select the correct version for your application.
• SLS 3D Printed Housing in PA12
• The housing parts are professionally SLS printed in nylon for maximum strength and precision.
• BMG X2 extruder only supports 1.75 mm size filament.

• Multi-material Capability: BMG X2 extruder feeds all material with high reliability, from slippery nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials.
• BMG X2 extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments, but has been tested to ensure performance of filament from 1.5mm up to 2.0mm allowing for high reliability regardless of the tolerance of the filament used.
• The filament path is fully guided throughout the extruder body and the housing maintains tight tolerances to the drive gears mitigating the chances of Filament misfeed when the hotend experiences increased back pressure or highly flexible filaments are used.
• Adjustable Tension: The thumbscrew tensioners allows the user to fine-tune the pressure exerted by the drive gears onto the filament. BMG X2 extruder gives you the power to adjust according to your preferences and to optimize for the type of material you are using.
• Quick-Release: To be able to do material changes in a snap, simply activate the Quick-Release lever to release the tension and pull the material to be changed out of the extruder, keep it activated and insert the new material.
